Previous Experience
Prior to founding ONTALA, Linda was a senior corporate Strategic Sourcing leader in major corporations and education. As CEO at Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace, she led a successful turnaround of this start-up, launching the most comprehensive public sector eMarketplace anywhere. As Senior Vice President and Chief Sourcing Officer at Fifth Third Bank (10th largest bank in the U.S.), she built and led a center of excellence for Sourcing and Procurement, instrumental in reducing operating expenses by over $250 million. As Vice President, Strategic Sourcing and Executive Offices Shared Services in Canada's most international bank, she built and led a high impact global Sourcing center of excellence supporting operations in 53 countries. As Managing Director, Strategic Sourcing at BMO Financial Group, she co-led development of a best practices Sourcing and supply chain management organization, reducing the bank’s expenses by over $150 million. Earlier in her career, Linda held leadership roles in Corporate, Commercial and Retail banking, and in Human Resources.
Linda was a founding member of Board of Directors, Sourcing Interests Group, an international association for Sourcing. She also Chairs the Sourcing Resource Center Advisory Board.
